Now’s the Time!

How do you nourish aquatic life in your pond?  If the pond doesn’t receive nutrients from runoff in the watershed, ask us about fertilization.  Properly applied, it grows plankton, a highly valuable food source for newly hatched fish and other beneficial critters.  Fertilizing can triple productivity of your ecosystem.  It must have a high phosphorus number, like 12-61-0 in a product we use.  Spawning season is near.  Valuable plankton “blooms” should be established soon.  Ask our biologist if your lake is a candidate for fertilization?
