CHANNEL CATFISH
Catfish seek cavernous cover to reproduce. This habitat was constructed from a box. Natural features include hollow logs, holes in embankments, or piles of large rocks. If such conditions don’t exist, catfish are not stimulated to spawn. We don’t recommend placing spawning habitat in small ponds. It can create large populations of stunted fish.
