Our staff continually touts merits of aeration.  We’re entering the season when a professionally engineered system pays big dividends and protects your fish community.

Rising water temperatures have created “thermoclines” where oxygen levels stratify at certain depths.  Upper zones contain oxygen and support aquatic life.  Perhaps one-half of the lower water volume may be void of oxygen and totally unproductive.  If some catastrophic event causes a sudden “turnover”, fish kills may occur.
