Standard tests analyze numerous parameters to determine if water chemistry is limiting or acceptable to grow healthy fish.

If you don’t drive a car, lawnmower, or boat for an extended period, what’s the first thing you do before cranking it?  Check fluids and other vital parts.  Ponds aren’t any different.  They’ve been idle for several months.  Our region received heavy rain during the off-season.  Many impoundments saw spillways run.  A large volume of water was exchanged.  To ensure conditions are back to normal, we recommend conducting a standard water analysis.

Tests are performed in the Soil Testing Lab at Texas A&M.  The fee is $25.  Contact us if you need assistance interpreting results.  See the link here. (Click – Water Submittal Form)
