Considering Stocking A Pond For Kids?

Are you considering stocking a pond for kids? Next time the kids say let’s go fishing, surprise them with BIG catfish.  We’ve got 2 to 10-pounders.  It’s best to stock one-half to 3-acre ponds managed just for catfish.  Feed floating food.  They put on a show chasing pellets across the surface.   Don’t place barrels or similar enclosed structures in the pond to encourage spawning.  It can quickly overpopulate the limited environment and diminish fish quality.  Simply stock 100 or 200-pounds.  After harvesting 50-percent for memorable fish fries, restock another 50 to 100-pounds. It’s a catfish garden.
