Are you on pace to reach 2011 harvest goals?  The average annual quota for bass should be approximately 20-25 pounds per surface acre.  Don’t lose this important growing season.  Don’t risk an overpopulation of bass overeating the food chain.  The result will be a pond with stunted fish.

Since crappie are predators, they should be high on the harvest list.  Same for green sunfish and other species with big mouths that compete with bass for baitfish.  Harvest also is important for small catfish ponds.  If you stocked 100, introduce 50 to the dinner table when they reach one to two pounds.  Simply replace them with 8-10 inchers for a perpetual supply of fillets.  Only 120-days left to achieve goals.  Rally your fishing team!
